Hi, I’m Chelsea.

I started Chelsea Denbo Creative to tell beautiful visual stories that grow businesses. 

I was born and raised in Broussard, Louisiana, and studied at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In the spring of my senior year, I studied art abroad in Florence, Italy. My career began as a web designer at a local advertising, marking, and public relations firm where I worked my way up to creative director in just three years. To expand my portfolio and gain experience, I also began taking freelance clients. 

A few years later, I was designing digital and print materials for the country’s largest jewelry manufacturer as a part of the corporate branding team and was responsible for the design of all international and domestic events. After being laid off due to COVID-19, I built CDC during the pandemic and haven’t looked back. I currently sit on the South Louisiana Community College Digital Media Advisory Board working to fine-tune the curriculum to pave the way for up-and-coming creatives.

I’m an honest-to-a-fault introvert with extroverted tendencies living in Lafayette, LA with my fiancé, three bonus daughters, and our dog, Chewie. I’m an ISFJ-T, a Thinker, an Enneagram 8, a Gryffindor, and probably wearing a Julien Baker t-shirt.
